The recent Zika virus - what you should know

Recent headlines have mentioned the Zika virus, however not many of us know what it is about.
The Zika virus is spread by mosquitoes and mainly affects pregnant women, which results in fetal abnormalities. People in the following regions are likely to see the disease spread: Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Caribbean or Pacific territories, and Central and South America.
